Just like Batman realised that Superman must be eliminated in *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)*, despite the fact that they were both on the same side. It is literally the same scenario now.
We woke up too late for the migrant crisis, we’ve lost Europe demographically. Let’s not wake up too late for the U.S.A threat, let’s not lose Europe geographically as well.

Interesting, hard to see how this deters anyone who wasn’t already deterred by the Ford along with her missile cruiser and 4 destroyer escorts and possibly unknown Sub support.. along with whatever bombers are based in Europe that can just fly over.
I’m no US military Hawk, but one of these strike groups could at least solo that entire region till back up arrives right? Especially if it working with the IDF (which is prob a bit hit and miss based on the last time..).
The mentioned, considered, Amphibious carrier craft is tactically more useful I imagine.
