  7. So here’s Israel on the one hand side, who is in this range of missiles probably the world technology leader when it comes to precision and reliability – because their lives depend on it.

    And has radars covering the entire area.

    And signals intelligence tapping any phone or digital communication in the sector.

    And Israel has nothing to gain by such an act.

    *On the other hand there’s Hamas and PIJ*, vile terrorist groups with track records of mass-targeting civilians, *storing large quantities of explosive rockets in or close to civilian buildings like schools or hospitals* and firing semi-manually assembled crude rockets purposefully from within civilian areas.

    Hamas / PIJ gets to play the victim card.

    And spread the Stockholm syndrome to loads more people.

    And torpedoes Biden’s visit.

    Hmmmmm… I know on whom I bet my money for causing this.

  9. What upsets me the most is that the media portrays and sensationalizes unproven rhetoric. Don’t say “Israeli strikes killed 500 people” or “Hamas missile kills 500 people” if YOU. DONT. KNOW. In my opinion, the rioting occurring as a result of this is on the media.

  17. According to Al Jazeera news, the missile was a misfire from Hamas. They have the video posted on their website.

  18. IMO Biden should bring the full weight of American intelligence to bear and act as an objective repository of information. A conclusive American intelligence report would put this to bed immediately, regardless of Iranian propaganda. The IDF is simply not a credible standalone source, Palestinian sources even less so.

    I imagine US special forces operations are already underway in at minimum a consulting and information-sharing capacity, but this is precisely the use case for tactical, precise black ops mobilization for hostage retrieval and Hamas decapitation. Unfortunately the IDF’s heavy hand is likely to minimize direct American involvement as they would be held liable for all collateral damage, and Hamas has already blamed the US for this hospital attack.

    Also, please reserve judgement until conclusive evidence materializes. Reddit is already emotional enough and populated primarily by neckbeards who are easily swayed by misinformation.

  19. What is Biden gonna do if it’s not Israel and is Hamas or PIJ? They’re already both terrorist organizations and they were shooting that rocket trying to kill as many Israeli citizens as possible. Hitting an Israel hospital is probably their wet dream. The rocket messing up and killing Palestinans doesn’t really change how you view them.

  20. Every weapon cache, rocket outpost and Hamas base is built atop a school, hospital, mosque. Hamas makes it impossible to attack them without collateral casualties.

    I love how a single hospital has gotten so much attention in Gaza, yet the multiple hospitals in Ukraine and thousands of children kidnapped from Ukraine hasn’t gotten nearly as much media coverage.
