He’s got nothing else to do and there will be cameras there so of course he will be there too.

Someone told me that when Trump does things like this, it’s because in his mind he thinks it’s still the 60s/70s where it was difficult to get information. He doesn’t realize that in 2023 we have a myriad of tools to fact check him in an instant.
He’s out of the limelight due to the war and he’s trying to remain relevant.
It gives him three chances a day to have photo ops and bloviate for the cameras.

At this point, I’m not afraid anymore (maybe I should be) because it’s comical. It’s like SNL writers and Onion writers got together to brainstorm and they all just slammed closed their laptops and capitulated, “we can’t think of anything dumber than what he says!” Then a talented writer, comes up with a brilliant idea… and before they finish round tabling it he’s already said it!

I give it maybe two days at most before Trump departs. The courtroom has got to be the worst environment for him. He can’t use his phone, can’t watch tv, can’t talk on the phone to the various people he’s always calling. He has to avoid outbursts or disruptions as the judge won’t stand for those. Lawyers are arguing complex legal things and saying big judicial words Trump has no hope of following along. He’s probably constantly bugging and whispering to his lawyers who are now distracted from the arguments because they’ve got to babysit him. Worst of all, I’m sure he’s getting a vague sense that things are not going well for him. If you’ve ever tried to make a petulant child sit through something quietly like a church service, imagine that but magnified 100x.
Ignoring him would drive him #$%#$^ nuts. Unfortunately, the media is Audrey the plant…”Feed me”. Personally get nauseous even hearing his voice.
