“…rising to **one in 15** in London, official figures have revealed.”
Feel like covid is finally starting to wash over me. All my mates are getting in, half of work has it and I’m currently lateral flow testing daily after working all day with a woman that tested positive yesterday.
I have two tests left and can’t fucking find any more.
My mum and sister have tested positive today, I have tested negative so far. We all got our booster two weeks ago but even that was not enough. As important as precautions are, including masks and vaccines, we might finally have a dominant variant that me might have to learn to live with. It’s infectious but mild in most people, just like the common cold, which is what we ‘want’ in a virus.
Everyone will’ve had Omicron by end of January.
2-3 doses plus omicron will mean a strong cross immunity for any future variant that displaces Omicron.
We’re getting towards the end of this.
As is tradition, please now downvote my optimism. 🙂
Can we stop reporting the death rate as 1 in 100 now then?
Anyone else suffered from instances of rapid heart beat since having covid, I got it 3 weeks ago just one day in bed with joint pain and feeling really shitty, only other symtoms were my skin felt like I had sunburn in patches for day two and day 7 my nose felt like I inhaled chilli powder, so covid seems like nothing to worry about anymore as so mild, but since day 20 my resting heart rate seems to go from 68 to about 120 out of nowhere for about 15 mins each day which kinda worrys me as to why
