   Each is a personal tragedy.

3. This phenomenon is a morbid fascination of mine because it is so weird that it is happening so often. We all need to reflect on how this really is not normal. This video isn’t meant to gloat or mock, I took out all music for that very reason. We have all seen some of these videos spread out over time but it is impactful to see them one after the other and realize the scope of the phenomenon.

   Aside from ISIS and Taliban fighters blowing themselves up I can’t think of another military that has this issue on such a widespread basis.

   We saw coalition soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan get all kinds of horrible wounds but to my knowledge not a single one killed themselves while waiting for medevac.

   And we have not seen any videos of Ukrainians doing this either, which if it were happening probably would have been filmed given the amount of drones Russia has in the air and their eagerness to post things that are negative for the Ukrainian forces.

   Nor are we seeing it in Nagorno-Karabakh or Myanmar and likely won’t see this in Israel-Palestine.

   My personal theory is Russian soldier’s lack of faith in the Russian military’s willingness/ability to medevac their own wounded troops, lack of faith in the medical services they may receive, and lack of faith in the social welfare/quality of life if they make it through, with the cherry on top of not believing in the cause they are fighting for/poor morale.

   Whatever it is something is horribly broken in the Russian military.

   Many of the soldiers in this video probably could have made it had effort been made.

5. There is an alternative, stand up to your dictator and go back to your families. You know there is a problem when your dictator is turning to the likes of NK, Iran and Hamas.

   He is rolling Russia down all because of the past. He’s like a kid that’s not gotten over it. Pathetic really.

8. Its crazy that so many of them would rather take their own lives than risk being captured. The propaganda they’re being fed must be insane.

10. This is so fucking insane. I wake up and go to my mundane job and these dudes decisions are sit here in a hole a die slow or shove this grenade in my mouth and get it over with. It takes a lot of desperation and courage to kill yourself.

    War is one big satanic ritual of bloodshed. Literally.
