    Back in my day, being a gunner in the Artillery meant you had to shoot and scoot because AN/TPQ radars would analyse projectile origin and then counter-battery fire would be aimed in your direction in a matter of minutes. But if you scooted quickly enough, you’d be safe.

    Now you get spotted by light drones that will follow you wherever you scoot to. And they’ll direct GPS guided rockets to your new location. You’re never safe. Tough times to be an Arty man in modern warfare.

  18. A couple of HIMARS changed the direction of the war immediately on their first use, so as will the atacms. More for larger targets with a lot of equipment, these missiles will take out large numbers of enemy equipment quickly.
