  1. Hopefully the new owners will be some improvement. They might respect employment laws and think quality products area good thing.

  2. Hate wetherspoons but cant blame people for going to them when the price of drink is so expensive in the other pubs.

  3. You seem to have some major chip on your shoulder about Wetherspoons. Mind explaining why?

  4. There are a lot of pub chains in Britain but repeatedly spoons was some of the worst pints I had there. Theor food was mostly reheat stuff that was always bland and tasteless.

My favorite chain with excellent quality for price was any Sam Smith’s.

The only segment that spoons served well were dedicated drinkers, which is not a great atmosphere.

  5. I’ve eaten in countries all over the globe in some absolute hovels on the side of the street with a bulletproof stomach and it was Wetherspoons The South Strand in Grand Canal Dock that laid me out for 2 days in the summer with woeful absolutly violent food poisoning.

I’ll never eat in that kip again.

  6. Brexit supporting wanker owns them. Best to avoid, if only for that reason.
