  27. I’ve been seeing a scary rise in Islamophobia. I got banned from the atheism subreddit for saying Islamic people shouldn’t be wiped out. They claimed I was supporting the genocide of atheists (???) by being against wiping out Islamic people. My ban reason was for supporting genocide, while literally speaking out against genocide.

    What the hell is wrong with people?

    Edit: Ah, I see it has spread here as well. Not surprising, I suppose. If you hate an entire people, and want them wiped out, you are fucked up in the head, and far worse than the people you hate. You’re an actual existential threat to humanity.
