I am living in a Studentenwerk apartment in Germany. I was boiling milk on the induction and didn’t realise until it spilled over.

Now the induction has got markings on it. Can these come off? Which cleaning agent should I use?

  1. Yeah, no, that’s not induction, that’s just your standard old-fashioned electric stovetop. There’s special cleaning products for this, “Kochplattenreiniger” or something slong those lines is what you’re looking for. Will still require a fair amount of elbow grease, though. And even then, I wouldn’t guarantee that you can get them spotless.
