Just curious how everyone coped this Christmas with all the empty supermarket shelves that were so accurately predicted. I found it a right pain with no turkey, pigs in blankets, fresh fruit and veg and even worse the lack of alcohol. Damn, wish I had listened to all the reports, and wise people on Reddit, back in October and purchased everything frozen in advance., god I feel foolish.
Edit.
Thanks for the expected downvotes from those that can’t reply because they have been proven so wrong! What are you next predictions 😂
Irrespective how many times the brexit-dodos claim there is no wall at all when banging their heads bloody for the umpteenth time against it, facts do matter.
would like to see an article listing any tangible benefits of brexit so that we can definitively see whether it has been the disaster it was predicted to be
That was a good read, I’m gonna share this with ignorant relatives when they state brexit was a good thing.
This was all predicted before the Referendum, some voters just didn’t want to listen it seems
Don’t let this distract you from the fact the country was already going downhill for a decade prior to Brexit (or covid).
On the topic of sausages I wish Tesco didn’t make all their Finest Sausages gluten free because it made them all dry
As a European I don’t think anyone should be subjected to British sausages.
Even if you have not personally felt any negative effects of Brexit, it does not mean there are none. A lot of Brexit voters might not have noticed any significant problems in their day to day life, however businesses have lost a lot of trade, their costs have gone up and industries are having huge issues with staffing. The effects will be felt more by the average person as time goes on, however there will still be plenty who deny that Brexit is the cause.
As bad as it is, refugees are getting in overloaded dinghys to leave the EU. We must be doing something right.
