  1. NBCUniversal News Group filed a 43-page motion on Wednesday hoping to televise USA v. Trump, the first criminal trial of a U.S. president.

  2. This would result in the biggliest ratings Trump has ever had.

  3. Yall come over. I’ve got a big screen, comfy couch, cold beer, and popcorn.

  4. Contrary to the headline it’s no more or less likely than it was yesterday, which is “not very”. We live in hope though.

  5. His worst nightmare…having judge scold him like a toddler in front of millions of viewers

  6. Hopefully, we not only get to hear the guilty, but it would be a great thing if he is given “Life In Prison” without the possibility of parole.

  7. He can’t just say guilty though. They have to do a dramatic zoom in where the judge announces it like an apprentice style firing.

  8. How long before AI videos come out of the judges presiding over his cases “doing something bad?” You have to know that’s coming at some point, they’re completely desperate.

  9. And I thought the “Boebert Gets Squeezed on Both Sides” headline was the one to make my day!

  10. That would be *amazing.* No one would get any work done, everyone would be watching the trial on their phones or a separate window on their computer.

  11. Don’t spoil it for me.
I want to see him baited into taking the dock. Self incriminate.

I want to see him gagged and behind bars for a bit.

Then. And only then I want him hear the judge Guilty verdict

  12. I love how they are calling this “one of Trump’s biggest trials” and I have no fucking idea which one they’re talking about.

  13. I just want to see him behind bars. He deserves prison for his crimes.

  14. I’ll only watch if there’s a guarantee he won’t pocket some money from it….

  15. That’s all well and good, but let’s not keep our eyes off the Florida judge’s attempts to delay the Mar-a-Lago case to after the election. Mar-a-Lago is the most cut-and-dry case of them all, with 100 % certainty of conviction.

  16. Ya know, if they actually show the trial on TV, it’s kind of fitting.. he’s always been about ratings, numbers, viewers.. five years ago he never would’ve thought that his biggest and most iconic moment would be as a criminal defendant at trial.

  17. “But check this out man, judge should be like [bangs fist on table] ‘guilty!’ Peace.”

  18. I know a lot of people are going to want this televised, but I’m afraid of his cult and what they’ll do if Trump is found guilty (because sorry, but until he’s behind bars, I will not trust the justice system to do their job and treat Trump like what he is, a hardened criminal).

  19. Well, you know he is responsible for the greatest TV ratings of all time.

  20. This would be the nut of the century. Like putting people on the moon. It shouldn’t be so exciting, it should be completely normal that a person who commits a crime gets sentenced for it. But this is the orange republican imbecile, and we’re in America.

  21. This is not good news. The last thing our court system needs is this to be public ally available to people. What’s it matter if he’s found guilty behind closed doors. Treat him like everyone else. Televising this will only increase his popularity and make the people who worship him, love him even more. Fucking bad idea

  22. Watching Diaper Dons face when he’s confronted with his guilt will please me more than you can imagine

  23. Televising would expose the “vindication” spin of a guilty verdict we know is coming. Former pres. will fight this tooth and nail.
Ahh, to see how this man lies through his teeth and contradict reality of the evidence.

  24. His ego wants it televised. To hear guilty and see his face might actually shut the damn conservatives up for once.

  25. Ooooh!

And during the lulls and breaks they run repeats of the January 6th hearings to give context!
