Filming in Malta

In 2021 Malta was used to film The Last Voyage of the Demeter, and while it was a box-office bomb, it was still something I could enjoy. Especially the beautiful scenery of Malta, and I am actually curious to where it was filmed.

I mean, I know about the film studios (the exterior of the Demeter), Mdina (carts with wooden boxes arrive in Varna – exact spot within unknown however) and Fort Ricasoli (the harbor building-side), with Germany being the studio where the interiors of the ship were filmed.

Which leaves the below shown images of the journey into, and out of, Varna. Considering that these are the same actors and extras and wooden carts seen on Malta, it would be likely this was in Malta, but where? Can anybody point me to these location(s)? Small note: I am pretty sure that the background mountains, and even the city, are all digitally added to the foreground. It would also make sense if all of this is around the same spot.
