  1. Thats the Republican party and the result of Republicans turning a blind eye towards the rise Fascism to keep power.

  2. I would be more surprised if she didn’t.

You’re essentially trying to appease a bunch of people that belong in a mental institution, having them turn on you comes with that territory.

  3. Miller-Meeks is just as bad as the other republicans. Enjoy the hatestorm you helped to promote.

Also, the only reason she pulled support is that she is in a swing district and doesn’t want to appear too extreme. This has nothing to do with her values

  4. why is my party of violent thugs whom i’ve always supported now thugging me?

  5. Does she not know that she has to vote for Jordan because Donald Trump said so?

  6. This is further proof that nobody should support Jim Jordan or his political style that damages our country more everyday.

  7. That’s the point of the Hannity Show texting all these guys basically saying fall in line or else. It’s not enough for Fox to influence government through legalized bribes, now they want to essentially run it too.

  8. Gym Jordan is desperate, if a moderate or Hakeem Jeffries gets the speaker post he is likely to come under even more investigation for his involvement in Jan. 6. He will try to destroy the federal government before he will back down.

  9. Should misfortune befall her as direct consequence of these threats most egregious, that would be 1 fewer vote they could extract.

  10. Seems like a real healthy functioning political party ya got there.

  11. Threats are the far-right’s primary tactic. Interesting that she was already worried about threats before actually getting them.

  12. It’s the leadership style a majority of the current Republicans know. Why would she expect anything else? Gym literally tried to help overthrow an election.

  13. So in classic right wing form … “this was fine until it affected me”.

  14. Why do I get the feeling in my gut that a) she’s not Theo only one, and b)the way the GOP factions are turning on each other, that we might see open warfare or at the least a spate of retaliatory murders within the next year? What a mess this country is.

  15. That whole “we are all domestic terrorists” label that Republicans were embracing at CPAC is starting to make a lot more sense now, isn’t it Mariannette?

  16. Dear conservative lurker reading:

Why is your party so comfortable with death threats and never speak out against them?

  17. The only way the Republicans can put an end to this is to kill MAGA. Turn on Trump and his acolytes! They need to have the courage end their party.

  18. I just saw a comment saying the threats were from BLM or Antifa. I think the person was serious lmao

  19. silly pro-lifers always ready to kill someone when theyre pissed off

  20. “Mariannette” claims to be independent. But who is really pulling her strings?

  21. Hmm terrorizing people for political reasons…

    There’s a word for that

  22. Funny how they threaten the wife of a male holdout but they go directly at the female holdout.

  23. She’s just a puppet. Who’s pulling your strings, Marianette!?

  24. Jordan was trying to do a Trump and turn his minions on his opposition. It’s disgusting and disturbing.

  25. Rep. Don Bacon and his wife were also threatened a day or two ago for not supporting Gym Jordan.

  26. Every elected Republican will now face this. Congrats! That’s part of the deal of lining up behind Trump.

  27. Imagine threatening someone so they will support Gym Jordan the guy whose biggest “accomplishment” is doing a catholic look the other way as Richard Strauss molested over a hundred athletes. What a stand up guy 🙄. Just gross.

  28. “However, after one round of votes, with my support, he was not able to secure enough votes for the speaker nomination, and my initial concerns about threatening tactics of Jim Jordan’s supporters, including from members of Congress, increased despite assurances,” Miller-Meeks said in the statement.

Wait, they gave assurances of no future threats? The shakedown party everybody.

  29. The best thing to do with a bully is to take their power away.

  30. Pretty funny that she’s a politician with a name that sounds like “puppet” (marionette).

  31. If you get death threats then why should you support this person for speaker then where did the we don’t negotiate with terrorist go
