On October 18th, 2023 – a Russian missile strike killed this young Ukrainian couple in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Danyil Kovalenko, 23, and his (20-year-old) wife, Diana were found dead under the rubble. They were married a year ago, after Danyil proposed to Diana in a bomb shelter.
