  1. > “I feel sad for the institution,” Pelosi told reporters as she walked off the House floor, moments after Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) fell short in a vote to become speaker. “I think it’s sad that they’re getting worse and worse.”

    > “They should take a lesson in mathematics and learn how to count,” she said.

  2. Na, Jordan is having these public votes on purpose. The plan is to have 24 hours of death threats to those who didn’t vote for him in between each vote. 24 hours for Hannity and the rest of them to rile up the base.

Jordan and MAGA are domestic terrorists.

  3. This clown party is a disgrace. They are so far up their own asses that they can’t see what an embarrassment they are.

  4. She should stay out of it. They are all corrupt enough to elect Jordan just to trigger Pelosi.

  5. Can they count to 1? Because that’s how many speakers they need

  6. Pelosi has a lot respect for the building and seen all types of reps work there. She wants the GOP to get back to how they used to be prior to the tea party maga idiots. Grow a backbone and stand up for themselves.

Shit, I’m disappointed too and I’ve never voted for a Republican.

  7. I thought it was obvious they needed math lessons after their decades of climate change denial.

  8. The GOP needs lessons in Civics, Math, Science … it’s a long list.

  9. The GOP’s fight against education finally caught up with them.

  10. I feel like taunting them is just likely to band them together against the democrats. Just keep quiet and get the popcorn out.

  11. Not as worthless as that Jordan jagg off but pretty goddam close

  12. Nancy ‘Inside Info’ Pelosi with a hot take on sadness, math and failure. Ironic?

  13. I don’t think people appreciate how good Pelosi was as a leader, she runs circles around these chucklefucks

  14. Democrats really shouldn’t be dunking on Republicans. The worst thing would be for them to actually appoint someone worse than Jim Jordan to spite them. Republicans are not above cutting off their nose to spite their face.

  15. How many gop balls does this woman have in her purse?

  16. I’m not a big fan of Pelosi, but damn do I love her ability to get under the Right’s skin. Also credit to the fact that she got shit done when she had a simple majority.

  17. I love her but she shouldnt bait them. It could unite them.

  18. Never bring it to the floor unless you know you have the votes

  19. General public ‘Sad’ for the Squad, Thinks They Need a Critical Thinking Lesson Pushing Lies that have caused destruction

  20. People laughed when I said we will see the death of the GOP as we know it. These are the beginning stages. Corporate old school republicans lining up with other corporate old school democrats will merge into one party and the progressive wing of the Democrat Party will be its own thing.

  21. I get having fun over the situation but if there is anyone that could unify the GOP House behind their biggest asshole it is Pelosi. She should just sit this out and watch with popcorn minus the commentary.

  22. She’s right. It shouldn’t be very hard to predict results, it’s not thousands of respondents and they know who is who. It’s embarrassing on the international stage to push votes that have no chance of success. I’m torn between wanting a functioning government and wanting a Republican dumpster fire, but it’s pretty obvious that no one is in control, they’re lying to each other, and nothing is getting done. We’re paying these people, it’s not ridiculous to expect them to do their jobs. Any other job that spent a month to get nowhere is looking at deserved restructuring

  23. I still think democrats should find a moderate republican to elevate to speaker. It would be a loss for democrats to an extent, but it should be done to attempt to change the direction of the Republican Party.
