  1. A dog they rehomed less than a month ago mauled his new owner and had to be shot by police. Now they’ve decided they’re going to stop rehoming XL Bullies.

This comes a matter of days after an XL Bully hospitalised one of their members of staff https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/23851795.basildon-dogs-trust-rehoming-centre-attack-sees-carer-hospitalised/

… and yet still they oppose the ban.

I wonder what they’re going to do with the XL Bullies currently in their care, given their famous “we never put a healthy dog down” line.

  2. A cull is desperately needed. They’re unnatural. They’re designed and bred as weapons, they are not pets. They’re a way of skirting around anti-weapon legislation by people who know exactly why they have them and what for. They are designed to intimidate, injure and at worst kill.

It’s sad that these things have lives cut short but if it wasn’t for human scum breeding these things then they wouldn’t exist and none of these needless, pointless deaths and attacks would have happened on innocent children, people and actual pets.

Voluntarily have them put down, or risk being caught in the street and have them shot then and there followed by some criminal charges which actually pack a punch. Either way, they’ve got to go.
