Came across this brand watching another Reddit video of this guy bringing gifts back to his poor family in the Caribbean, from – yes America.
I had no idea they had hijacked us this way – check out the wiki link.
And I’ll stick some YouTube links here for the absolutely absurd advertisement campaign!
“Twoooooo Deodorants” 😂
Please feel free to ridicule 😉

I use Irish Spring. I’m in Canada though.
They have an entire Irish Spring line of products now besides the original bar soap
Body-wash/ shower gel
Deodorant & Anti-perspirant
Newer scents include; Moisture Blast and Icy Blast
I remember the TV ads and the original green bar scent very well. It was a common inexpensive product here in Canada as long as I can recall
Fresh and clean as a whistle!
It was in Vietnam in quite a few shops. My missus over there was wondering what it was like and was surprised when I said it doesn’t exist in Ireland. But to any Irish person it would be obvious. The four leaf clover is all that’s needed to know its not Irish in the slightest.
Also in Central America in the 90’s it could be found.
I was an exchange student in Germany in the late 80s. It was a big thing there at the time but more so the shower gel and what not. I had never heard of it as clearly it didn’t sell here and my German family thought that was hilarious.
It was originally launched in Germany in the 70s and is a Colgate Palmolive brand.
Used to use it in Canada, it’s pretty good. Nice, thick & gives you a good lather on your balls.
The logo reminds me of Irish Cement
Still remember the cringy ad I saw in America as a kid in the mid 90s, which featured a long haired ‘ginger maiden’ under the waterfall waxing poetic about the lacklustre bar of soap 😂 😬😂
Growing up in America, this was the standard soap in most households in the early-mid 90s.
