  1. Go ahead, the French is already not in the integrated command and Macron always calls NATO brain dead and refuses to share nukes with NATO. Really nothing of value will be lost

  2. Don’t worry, he will never get elected, there are many candidate to the president election, being one doesn’t really mean a thing.

  3. Yaaay, we totally should leave our democratic allies to join an autocrat with murdering tendencies toward his opponents. And for good measure we also should push Eastern Europe into his arms, for the old time sake of the mighty USSR. I thought Melanchon was an idealist with a poor grasp on reality but now he just sounds like a lunatic.

  4. > *“Russia is a partner. I do not agree with making an enemy of it. We brought 10 countries into NATO in the east, which was seen as a threat by Russia. Especially when you install anti-missile systems in Poland,” the politician said.*

Notice how Mélenchon denies the eastern European nations their self-determination in this tweet: according to him, they were “brought into NATO”, instead of “they joined NATO as soon as they could because they knew that Russia would threaten them again in a near future”.

Fortunately, Mélenchon’s campaign is a trainwreck at this point; he is expecting to halve his voters count compared to the previous election.

  5. Right wing populists, left wing populists. Both are against everything in domestic polistics. Both are keen to suck Putin’s d***.
