From a purely strategic point of view, Finland joining would improve the Baltics’ security a lot, as their allies could now also come to their defence from the north.
I find it quite silly that especially Finland and in smaller scale Sweden are not NATO
members and pretending the “neutrals”. Looking Russia’s behaviour they have to be part of NATO ASAP if they don’t want to become a Karelia 2.0
At least they are part of EU so they have some kind of protection
