During election he looked good – chief economist for SEB Lithuania president (scandinavian bank). Everyone expected him to have western values, ability to work with foreign partners. During election he supported LGBT rights, promised to wear LGBT badge.
After he was elected, he become the most used Lithuanian president for memes with the idea that former woman president had balls and current president man has no balls. Lithuanian award winners refused to take award from him. He had no spine in all matters.
Soon he saw that city voters and intelligent people make fun from him. So he started to focus on province, rural area voters. His politics become anti-vaxxer support(even he siad that needs to have vaccine, but he baned more strict control of vacination, support anti-vaxxer movement), anti-LGBT(even be siad he is for equal rights of LGBT persons, but he siad that he will VETO LGBT supporting laws, supporter of anti-LGBT movement). He constantly changed his opinion and another joke here – that he made surveys and than changed mind according to them. He doing populistic actions and try prepare for second cadence.
