  1. *From Bloomberg reporters Alisa Odenheimer and Fadwa Hodali:*
The Israeli military began offering cash and protection for anyone who shares accurate information on the whereabouts of hostages held by militant group Hamas.

Gazans found the leaflets on the streets across Gaza on Tuesday after they’ve been dropped from Israeli aircraft, the latest in a slew of steps by Israel to locate some of the people Hamas is holding captive.

“If your will is to live in peace and to have a better future for your children, do the humanitarian deed immediately and share verified and valuable information about hostages being held in your area,” read the leaflets, written in Arabic and shared by the Israel Defense Forces.

  2. Save innocent civilians and earn cash. Seems like a great deal.

  3. What I dont understand… if they don’t know where the hostages are. How is Israel bombing buildings indiscriminately?

  4. Tragic. I can’t even imagine how scared those hostages are right now.

  5. This is a great opportunity for all those young people who never got a chance to vote against Hamas to deliver a resounding blow against the terrorist organization and deescalate the conflict. Let’s see who takes it.

  6. Do they offer a way out of Gaza? Money’s not going to be much use if you’re taken out by a hamas to rocket or an Israeli response to the rocket.

  7. Idk how they verify this and aren’t lead into a trap. I’m sure they’ve thought of that, I’m just curious

Would love to see them drop flyers telling the Palestinian people to take back their land from Hamas.

  8. How would they get the money? Where would they spend it? Pretty sure there’s not much to buy in Gaza right now

  9. This is the right strategy. If they drop 1m of these leaflets, they are guaranteed leads. Verifying them will be tougher as will be any attempt at subterranean rescue.
But as a workable plan, this is a good start. Never underestimate financial & freedom incentives when it comes to desperate people wanting to live.

I just wish Israel could have coordinated this on a much grander scale on Oct 8th instead of their knee-jerk auto-response to just start blasting and erode the swathes of global sympathy that turned towards them 24hrs earlier.

  10. I imagine “cash” is a mistranslation of “payload.”

  11. umm how would you get the money if you did report? is it an online deposit? cause i don’t see the idf throwing cash care packages into the city

  12. But…but…I thought Israel didn’t care about hostages! Posters are just to draw more hate toward Arabs!

    Kindly stfu thanks

  13. Hamas offering $10k per hostage, Israel offering to buy them back, USA funding both sides…

  14. Let’s go Flyers! 👏👏 👏👏👏 First place in the Metro during a rebuild year. Maybe they can bring peace to the Middle East too

  15. There is nothing to buy, the place is a warzone.
