Maybe that’s the long line of Russian infantry they are targeting.
Seems to work pretty well against matériel, too.

…and the U.S. has vast quantities in storage that we will never use and will have to pay to destroy if we don’t send for Ukraine to use.
Anything going downrange is better than nothing, and we had a *lot* of these in storage we would have had to pay to dispose of.
Is there an expert here who can tell me what the fragmentation spread is of every individual explosive unit, and one cluster bomb as a whole? Is it enough to cover the entire circle (including the center area) with schrapnel? I’ve tried Google but cannot find a good source.
Im so sure, one of the engineers filed in a smiley pattern during development.
