Serhou Guirassy to Inter for €17.5m, who says no?

  1. I find it extremely hard he’d accept being a bench player in the form he’s at right now.

  2. 1. Inter would need to sell before they can put 17.5M up front, meaning they can’t be first to the punch as other clubs that want him don’t have to wait

    2. The clause activates in January, the club can renegotiate his contract to remove or increase it until then

    3. With his performance I doubt he goes to another club to be a substitute

  3. Don’t be fooled by Bundesliga goals inflation. This championship is very offensive and any decent striker can score crazy amounts of goals there.

As someone who follows Ligue 1 he was actually pretty mid at Rennes. This season is fantastic for him but I don’t think he’s Inter Milan level, even as a substitute.

  4. He is a gamble at this point.
He can explode at 26 like Mo Salah who was 26-27 when he moved to Liverpool, or he can just fade away.

He obviously needed the right conditions to do well this season, soI think he will find a very good environment to build his craft even more at Inter, but it will depend on who comes knocking on his door at the end of the season (if he continues doing well until then)

Maybe he will look at who good other ex-Bundesliga players at out team (Sommer, Pavard, Thuram) and decide to come to Inter.
