2. They played with high intensity, put up a real fight and we rode out the storm. Nice showing of resilience from the boys. On to the next one.

   Love how quiet the stadium went after a full 70 minutes of whistling, the silence was like music.

   is constantly getting the gameplan wrong, ulle + our centerbacks and harry at literally 100% efficiency bailing us out really the way to go?

   they pressure us with 6 guys, 3 in our own box and we still play into the pressure……seriously?

   gala battered us all game until they ran out of juice and thats only, because we survived over 20 shots after only ~~ 50 minutes

   if they score first, we lose this game

   its nice to grind out results, but now we get another week of “we were patient” bullshit narratives

7. This game was too weird to write it all down but I think Laimer needs a shoutout.
   He was a real fighter today and won so many duels.
   Also whats up with not playing Thomas at all now?

8. strong showing by Gala + terrible performance in the first 70 minutes. Kane class saved us

9. What annoys me the most is our behaviour during counters. No support from our midfield and mostly no support from Phonzie and Maz as well.

    We were lucky to not fall behind in the first hour, as they had plenty of good chances. Ulreich should be lauded for his saves. We didn’t find a way to beat their (albeit impressive) press and their intensity. In this kind of game, against a high press opponent, we should be able to counter with our speed, but only managed to do that for the 1:0.

    After 60 minutes their energy faded and we could capitalize. Finally we were able to keep possession, and as space opened up, combine and finish the game, claiming a tough but important win.

11. The first 70 minutes was pure terroristball

12. Glad we won but seems more down to individual ability (Kane) than anything else. Tuchel’s system remains a mystery. And he won’t play Müller. Can’t say I’d be sad if he got sacked.

13. Musialas greatest skills are quickly becoming his greatest weaknesses in my mind and that is bothering me.

    He needs to focus on his decision making, like a lot.

16. How we left that game 3-1 is spectacular. Awful football imo. Terrible decision making by Tuchel. Thanks to Bambi and Kane for saving this match.

17. Gala got tired in the end and we used it, but they pretty much laid the blueprint on how to beat us today. Top teams will destroy us if we play like this

19. So, we finally passed to Kane.

20. Glad we can win the tough matches and got another win to build more confidence.

    With that said, we can’t ignore that our strategy was basically to outlast them rather than outperform them.

    We also don’t make changes soon enough.

    I’m happy we won, but concerned we won’t address some of our problems because of it. We can be better than this.

21. Man Gala have built a nice squad of former PL and Serie A guys filled out with good Turks. And Muslera has been excellent for like ten years. Nice team.

24. Musiala got a lot of criticism. Right fully so. I get it.

    But i honestly think his “poor decision-making” today was due to him thinking he has to win this game for us on his own. Which is understandable if you look at the performance and how we started this game. And you know, he did win us the game with an assist and a goal.

25. When they include the best fucking 9 in the world, the attack improves as fuck. There are tons of work to do but hey, we won.

27. As much as Gala pressed and as well as they played, they really didn’t have a sniff in the second half.

    Love the way Laimer and Ulrich played. The two save’s Ulrich had early were amazing.

    The team showed heart and worked their tail off. Deserved terrorist style win!

28. Even though the defense looked shaky as a whole, I thought De Ligt played very well. I feel much more confident when he is out there to command the defense.

29. Müller has to start the next game (I hope)
