1. Well, this is sounding like it’s happening. Iran already attacking US bases in the ME, and are talking about escalating attacks and the US is using that wartime bedroom voice about defending itself.

12. Pls can we refrain from bombing Iran? And im saying this as an Israeli. Large parts of Iranian society are fed up with the crazy ayatollahs. Theyd like help getting rid of them, bombing Tehran is not likely to help.

13. It’s important to note that to us (US), defending ourselves includes attacks against any foreign mission; such as, embassies, naval vessels, joint bases, diplomats, etc.

    Deterrent fine, we don’t want the Ayatollahs to do anything stupid, but just give those folks a chance to settle this themselves. Iran is the only country in that region that actively sees uprisings from its people. The last thing you need is them to actually unite with the government.
