  1. Fun fact: the small dot in NW Italy is a lighthouse, but there’s no body of water there. It’s the [Faro della Vittoria](https://it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faro_della_Vittoria_(Torino)), a 26 m statue built on the top of a hill (715 m ASL) near Torino as a monument to the Italian victory in WWI. During clear nights, its light can be seen from many peaks of the Western Alps.

  2. Can I apply for lighthouse keeper and life in one? That would be awesome.
