  3. The biggest looser in this entire crisis seems to be Iran. They will loose hamas influence in Israel and there is no change in Saudi relations. I also hope for some crafty response to the attacks on the US bases in the middle east

  6. Not to make this all about about American politics, but Biden is going to come away from all this looking very good. This is a dangerous moment in world history and the US seeing an adult behind the wheel must make a pretty compelling case to keep him.

  7. Tbh I kinda doubt he would want this war to end. In fact I think he would love to see it expand througout the region so Biden will have no choice but to start fighting Iran proxies to defend Israel from being overwhelmed.

  9. I was always convinced of this. Salman is a dictator who doesn’t care about Palestine, Arab unity or Islam .

    He is just waiting for the conflict to end (or freeze) and resume normalization plans again

    Saudi came to the table, knowing a war with Palestine was only a matter of time. They were also fully aware of the existence of Hamas and from my understanding, they also have no plans to support Palestine and have no long-term benefits to change their mind now.

    Hamas’s main objective of this war is to prevent the normalization of relationship between Israel and Saudi, fearing of what this could mean to their cause.

    So Israel and Saudi have to keep pushing with the talk. This is not a religious war, Saudi is fully aware of that.

  26. Bonesaw hates Iran more than Israel confirmed. Makes sense from his FP so far that he’d make this statement and I think he’s actually going to back it up later. If he wasn’t already dead sure normalization with Israel is the right way forward from a competitive standpoint with Iran he never would’ve made that decision in the first place. Israel going to war yet again with people MBS doesn’t give a shit about anyway (except for political reasons ofc) wouldn’t phase this long term but he has to tread lightly to not anger his power base.
