The European Union’s interest lies in Ukraine’s victory in the war with Russia. EU countries should accelerate and strengthen their assistance to Ukraine.
As Censor.NET informs, Katalin Cseh, a member of the European Parliament from Hungary (Renew Europe), said this in a comment to Guildhall.
“It is vital to coping with the support of the two countries (Israel and Ukraine – ed.), but I believe that the EU’s assistance to Ukraine is moving forward, we have laid the foundation, the foundation for further support.
I am pleased that in the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, we have successfully voted in favor of the civil provisions that we hope will manifest themselves in a long-term European vision.
We must continue to help in line with current needs, but we must also accelerate our efforts. It is important to be with Ukraine and provide humanitarian assistance.
I have said this many times, but this is our common interest, the interest of Ukraine and the EU – Ukraine’s victory in the war. We must show the world that democracies can overcome such aggression, show that we can remain united in the most difficult times,” the politician said.
“Yes, following the news (of the military conflict in Palestine – ed.), we are very concerned, but I hope that just like when the Russian war against Ukraine began, European unity will prevail.
And I hope that, just as we have done before, every country will be able to continue and strengthen its assistance to Ukraine,” summarized Katalin Cseh.
