I really do hope something comes of it and Glasgow can get better (and cheaper) bus services, but as with anything, funding remains a hurdle
I think 99% want a bus that comes on time and I reliable etc than I its blue, orange or so.
Get them something people can use. Worry about colour later.

Leaving provision to the free market was (and remains) a tragic, stupid idea
Strange the article focuses on Manchester- rather than Edinburgh? I thought Lothian Buses would also be a good model to look at – and they have been going far, far longer so would have a wealth of knowledge.
Anyway – it would be good to get a cheap, reliable system that could be used across Scotland- linking up buses, trains and ferries.
Should be nationalised and I couldn’t care less what colour they are
