  11. Palestinians are not Hamas!!!! Give me a break people and get a new bullshit line. I’ll admit, not every Palestinian is a Hamas supporter, but based on what polling that has been done, a majority block of Palestinians do support Hamas and their actions.

    I’m sorry but removing and eliminating Hamas is impossible without civilian casualties. I don’t like it, but when you have a terrorist organization that deliberately intertwines itself among the civilian populace and most likely gets help from a large portion of said populace, civilian deaths are impossible to avoid. Many, many more will die, especially when Israel goes it …. and they are going in.

    Sidenote: interesting tactic from Israel to drip feed data on the attack. Keeps it in the news, keeps the attention on this rather than their response.

  21. People need to get into their heads that not all civilians in Gaza are innocent bystanders. Not only is there a *huge* ideological support, there is a lot of on-the-ground support for Hamas from civilians. We’ve seen many civilians go into Israel after Hamas did and helped them perform atrocities. We’ve seen them abuse the Israeli and non-Israeli hostages of their own accord. Many gave them shelter and food.

    The fact that we see such vehement support for killing of Jews by civilians is a big red flag for the naive expectation that the Gazan will make the correct choices after Hamas is gone.

  23. There is plenty of audio and video available publicly that shows both sides are guilty of this exact same thing. I wish these journalists would pick something else to write about that can actually try to help this situation rather than further divide people

  24. Remember its not as simple as “Hamas is ruling Gaza with an iron fist.” The people of Gaza are, for a large part, indistinguishable from the terrorist organization ruling them, and its not like they’re hiding the ball here.

  26. Why should I care about Palestinians? All of the Jewish people I’ve met have been nice to me but I’ve never had a good experience with an Arab person.

  28. It’s almost beyond the point of feeling bad for these people which is terrible to say. There’s always innocent lives that are simply in the wrong place at the wrong time…but it really does feel as though as a collective, these people are complicit – much like a large majority of German Civilians in the 1930s and 40s.

    Not to mention that their parents support is an indication of their “education” and level of hate.

  30. I think the sad reality many are not willing to accept is that radical groups like Hamas do receive wide support from Palestinians. Now, there are Palestinians that do not support them, but it’s not like Hamas are some group that is widely hated by the population. They are quite popular, especially compared to Fatah, which is seen as corrupt and incompetent. Even if Israel decides to end the occupation tomorrow, dismantle their settlements, and completely withdraw to pre-1967 borders, it’s not going to be enough for groups like Hamas. They will continue to attack Israel until every Jew is dead and Palestine extends from “the river to the sea”.
