Greetings greek brothers! I bought this during my summer vacation in Greece this year, but I forgot what it was. Can you tell me what kind of beverage this is. Is it white wine? I don’t want to open it yet..

[Retsina](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retsina) (Ρετσίνα) is a Greek white (or rosé) resinated wine.
It’s a white wine aged with the addition of resin called Retsina. It provides a unique and sour flavor. Hope you like it!
Next time you must try Retsina Malamatina
Its wine with resin, people mix it also with tonic water or cola to get a fussier texture and sweeter taste
There is the [song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVw4dy_FCn4) of this beverage

The chiller the better so some time in the freezer first is mandatory!
Pair it with spicy Indian food!
Tourists are so wrongly informed when buying this. They think this is a good Greek wine.
No, this is the cheapest little shit wine students buy because they have no money for expensive wines and cheeses.
I still love it btw. Very good memories.
But Greece also has proper Greek wines that can be considered one of the best in the world. The problem is, they are not this one.
Open it because it is better if it’s fresh. Try to drink it within a year. The brighter the color, the more fresh it is
try it with some sprite/7up, it’s good
It’s Retsina. THE BEST WHITE WINE.
Retsina aka prezokraso (prezo-kraso) meaning drug wine. In the sense that it is very popular among students and generally young people that want to get wasted with something cheap, myself included.
This is greek meth. Enjoy.
