I live in Turkey. It should not go into the “understandable English” category. Most people here can’t speak English at all.

Norway speaks way better english then Germany.
I’m from England, my Dutch friends speak better than my English friends.
I’m a simple italian: I see that we are better than French in one thing and so I’m happy.
This has to be a wind-up, surely. Germany is criminally overrated and Portugal doesn’t deserve to be grouped with Spain and Italy.
Actually, in Norway and Finland (Suomi) they speak a lot better than merely understandable English 😉
Actually Portugal speaks pretty good English, as all our shows are subbed and not dubbed.
