  1. >European Jews are afraid following a spike in antisemitic attacks sparked by the latest Israel-Hamas war despite authorities increasing protection, Rabbi Menachem Margolin, the chairman of the European Jewish Association, has told Euronews.
    >
    >The Rabbi said the increase in such incidents, which include physical and verbal aggression, is something that has not been seen for decades.
    >
    >”We do get a lot of information, a lot of calls, a lot of emails from Jewish people from Europe, both individuals in the institutions, synagogues, schools,” Margolin told Euronews.
    >
    >”People see in the street that they get much more remarks, many more bad looks, hatred, looks and call for death and physical incitement.”
    >
    >According to figures compiled by the Anti-Defamation League and released on Tuesday, nearly 590 antisemitic incidents have been reported to French police since October 7, when Hamas launched a deadly attack against Israel. In Germany, the number of such incidents has risen by 240% compared to the same period last year, while in Austria they have gone up by 300%.
    >
    >Some of the incidents listed include the destruction of Israeli flags, the vandalisation of Jewish monuments and sites, graffiti, and death threats.
    >
    >The Rabbi said that many people are now taking extra precautions to protect their families from hate crimes.
    >
    >”There are many, many people now who will secure their doors, install cameras, change the windows to bulletproof windows,” he explained.
    >
    >”They tried to fireproof doors and yet many people know it is not enough.”
    >
    >As the chairman of the European Jewish Association explained, the main tool for hate messages is social media. He wants better editorial control to be exerted over such content and for better education against racism.
    >
    >The European Commission has raised concerns about the increase in hate speech and hate crimes targeting both Jewish and Muslim communities in Europe and has made their safety a top priority.

  2. This is totally unacceptable. It disgusts me when synagogues are being vandalised, Jewish houses being targeted, and Jewish community was receiving violent threats.

Antisemitism has no place in our civilized society, and for that matter, any society.

  3. As expected. People are too stupid to distinguish between jews and Israel

  4. 2023 part 4 sucks, we want the 80s and 90s back. Who’s with me?

  5. This is so sad. Why??? Why do y’all hate us so much?? Ffs this boggles my mind.

  6. Well, I guess that’s also a way to solve our brain drain and encourage more aliyah to Israel.

  7. It’s not surprising. In some cities, Jews already felt unsafe walking some streets.

The 7-10 attacks have only encouraged more people to openly express their anti-semitic views. Previously, they had kept their opinions hidden to fit into our societies, but they now witness blatant anti-Semitism being tolerated on the streets.

  8. For fucks sake, when those people will learn?

    Disliking Israel =/= antisemitism

U can hate on Israel while not being antisemitic

    edit :

it seems some people think that i hate the “State of Israel”, no i do not.

    I just hate their government.

  9. There’s probably a relation between this and something else, but last time I pointed it out I was banned for three days. I don’t need that again.

  10. Today it is Antisemitism tomorrow it is AntiWesternitism.

  11. She because we have allowed 10’s of millions of Muslims to come here

  12. by whom tell me? who is anti semitic? who and what will you do against it you balless spineless fucks

  13. I do not doubt that anti-semitism has risen, especially given the outpouring of emotion against Israel in the last weeks. I do not doubt this has given those people who really hate Jews the excuse to lower their masks and bring their ugly faces to the fore.

I have also seen across Europe a massive rise in cries of anti-semitism, very similar to the well known and ridiculous calls of Islamophobia, when people rightfully critisise the barbaric actions of the Israeli goverment. Now, anyone who stands with a flag to protest the killing of civilians in Gaza is called an anti-Semite. Anyone who questions the motives of Israel’s government in bombing to dust the people of Gaza is now at risk of being tarnished a Jew-hater.

This is official Israeli policy and it seems that quite a lot of European nations have taken it upon themselves to believe that Israeli policy is also European policy. This cannot go on. For shame! When I stand in a European square and decry the ruthless destruction of a city and risk arrest. This is disgraceful and it has nothing to do with anti-semitism and it ruins European values as much as it destroys Israeli hopes of ever irradicating the plague of anti-semitism.

  14. Integration of Muslims is so poorly executed in Europe.

  15. Disliking Israel =/= antisemitism

U can hate on Israel while not being antisemitic

  16. It’s on the streets every time someone chants pro Palestinian chants about rivers to seas.

It’s clear that there is an undercurrent of Jew hatred in Europe by the far left and Muslim immigrant communities. It’s inexcusable.

Although that will not stop apologists for it replying to this. Expecting a range of reasons below why it’s ok to hate Jews.

  17. Because it’s Germany’s fault during Angela Merkel years that she decided to allow anti-Semitic Muslims from Syria to come in as “political refugees”, but turned out to be economic migrants who don’t have intentions to return to Syria, but to stay in Europe and bring their families left behind in Syria with them (chain migration).

  18. Anti-Russian sentiment in Europe at levels unseen in decades, says top Russian general

  19. It was always there. Now people just feel free to be open about it.

  20. I think it’s unfortunately a matter of time that we’re going to see attacks on Jewish communities, schools, and synagogues. And this time it will be all done by Muslim radicals.

  21. It’s bad in America as well – Gen Z is deranged

  22. It’s ironic because Middle-Eastern Muslims are also Semitic.

  23. I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been traveling Europe for the last 5 years, I thought Christianity is bad, but fuck me sideways, all religion is. We have evolved as a sick species, literally the only virus of this planet and we need to change our nature before we kill everything. Religion and race should be forbidden. Let people do whatever the fuck they want in their mind, but too many innocent lives have been lost in the name of God, Allah, whatever the fuck people are using to sleep well in the night.

  24. this is because your statistics cant differentiate between hate for the state of israel, and antisemitism.

If hating israel is antisemitic, then hating hamas is islamophobic

  25. Directly correlated with the rise of Islamic immigration to Western Europe ..and the same trend is taking place in the US.

  26. It’s almost like some cultures and religions don’t mix

  27. Now I wonder what the average level of antisemitism is occurring in immigrant and non immigrant groups.

  28. Those damn Germans at it again 😤😡😡🤬😱😠

  29. Anti zionism != Antisemitism

The same way that being against Wahabbism doesn’t mean hating on Islam.
