Bones’ constituency is Wellingborough. It’s extremely Conservative, with Cons getting more than 50% of the vote in the last 3 elections. You’d assume the Lib-dems will (unofficially) not campaign to help Labour…who came 2nd*…on the other hand, I’d reckon the LDs are the more ‘natural’ competitors in such a right-wing area.
Suspect the accusations against Bone may count as one of those ‘local factors’ that have so troubled the Cons in by-elections recently.
*the last 2 times, in 2015 UKIP were second, although the Labour party were screwed by ‘local factors’ in that election…

I read the report. He physically assaulted the victim numerous times in front of witnesses. Slapping, backhanding and throwing things.
‘Sexually inappropriate’ means making the victim massage him, sharing a room on a trip and refusing to move the beds apart and, worst of all, on same trip asking victim to fix the shower and when victim was kneeling he dropped his towel so that his genitalia was right next to the victim’s face.
The Tories took the complaint but did nothing with it for 4 years hence the victim complaining to parliament.
Under the new rules this wouldn’t have gone ahead. The Tory Party delaying tactics would’ve timed out the complaint.
His suspension was reduced due to the time elapsed (?) and would’ve been considerably more otherwise..
Sadly these despicable monsters reflect the “values” of their constituents. Tory voters are vile human beings
He has been suspended whoopee doo he will pop of to his holiday home have a good time and good laugh and be back in time for the Christmas break. Tar and Feathering carried on a Rail would be a suitable punishment.
