  1. This means nothing. He has an unlimited stupid-American cashflow. Put his ass in jail, or there won’t be an America for much longer.

  2. He can’t even defend himself without further incriminating himself. This man must testify in every one of his trials, please please.

  3. Huh, didn’t Engoron threaten Trump with jail time if he violates the gag order again?

  4. When they are dismantling the business, the judge needs to make sure they set aside the 10k.

  5. >“Are you sure you didn’t mean on the other side of me, my principle law clerk?” Engoron asked.

    >“Yes actually,” Trump said, sticking to his story.

    >Engoron probed further, asking Trump if he had previously refererred(*sic*) to his law clerk as a “partisan democrat?”

    >“She may be unfair. I think she’s very biased against us. I think we made that clear… we put up a picture, and you didn’t want that up… we didn’t necessarily agree with that… and we didn’t take it down,” Trump said.

They *need* to get him to take the stand more often. A yes/no question and we get this gem.

  6. “I hereby fine you $10,000, which is on the **liberal** side …”

    Do I detect a subtle dig? 🙂

  7. Engoran is building up the record. I believe Joyce Vance talked about this last night in general terms, the first fine was $5,000. She said the second fine would be $10,000 then after that it would jump up to either 50,000 or $100,000, and then after that would be imprisoning him. That was all general supposition and then today it looks like part of a reality. He is so dumb, why would Trump do this when he knows he’s not allowed.

And if he truly believes that the judge “hates” him anyway, it makes even less sense.

  8. This is a better deal for Trump than when the Flying Dutchman bought SpongeBob’s soul from Mr. Krabs for 62 cents.

When the punishment for breaking the law is little more than a speeding ticket for the rich, then it’s only really a law for the poor.

  9. ‘I find that the witness is not credible’.

    You and me both, judge.

  10. The donald – always the stabile genius, now has to take the stand – he cannot breathe without lying in the process. Turn up the circus music.

  11. This was the 2nd strike one more and he IS DONE! He has no idea how FUCKED he is right now. Pissing people off including the judge is not a great idea at all you stupid orange clown!

  12. Im not a lawyer but allowing a lying stupid with narcissism client testify is a bad idea.

  13. Crazy how judges in this country can jail you for giving them a smirk yet this motherfuckers sends out his death squad goons after members of the court and gets hit by ridiculous fucking fines. Lock this asshole up, everyday he remains free proves how cowardly the judges are and how terrorism works

  14. Ignore the number for a moment (yes it’s small, but also doubles last penalty) and note one thing:

Trump took the stand (for the first time), swore an oath, and stated he meant to insult Cohen, *not* the law clerk alongside the judge.

What do you think will happen when he inevitably goes home and furiously fat fingers a fake-tweet about how the unfair judge chastised him just because he insulted his very obviously partisan clerk?

There is at least a 60% chance that Trump publicly announces he meant the clerk, casually admitting he lied under oath.

  15. LMAO

Engoron held a surprise hearing in which he ordered Trump to take the witness stand—marking the first time the real estate tycoon has done so in his ongoing legal troubles.

After a visibly perturbed Trump was sworn in, the judge asked him who he was referring to when he directed his anger at the person sitting next to the judge who’s “very partisan.”

“Are you sure you didn’t mean on the other side of me, my principal law clerk?” Engoron asked.

“Yes actually,” Trump said, sticking to his story.

Engoron probed further, asking Trump if he had previously refererred to his law clerk as a “partisan democrat?”

“She may be unfair. I think she’s very biased against us. I think we made that clear… we put up a picture, and you didn’t want that up… we didn’t necessarily agree with that… and we didn’t take it down,” Trump said.

“As you can see, my principal law clerk is very close to me,” Engoron said. “You and I see can see each other, we’re close, but we’re not as close, clearly. And there’s a barrier between us.”

“Don’t you always refer to Michael Cohen as Michael Cohen?” Engoron pressed on.

    “No,” Trump shot back.

Engoron, clearly frustrated, frowned as he moved his tongue under his cheek.

“The witness is excused, I have no further questions,” he said.

“Thank you, sir,” Trump said, then walked out of the witness box.

Engoron then issued his ruling, which sparked protests from defense lawyers Christopher Kise and Alina Habba.

“I think that’s a dangerous place to go, not just with the sanction but with the trial,” Kise warned.

The judge said he wouldn’t reconsider, and started up the trial again.

  16. Does this judge not realize how much money he has…? Fines will not change his behavior.

  17. Interesting that when questioned trump seems to admit to leaving the image (that he was ordered to take down. Which trump’s lawyers argued was a simple oversight.) up on purpose.

  18. Weak judge. Weak. Does jail exist over there? Oh yeah, for brown people.

  19. If Trump meant Michael Cohen he would have said Michael Cohen or some other nickname. He was vague because he was talking about the law clerk and thought if he didn’t say her name he could get away with it. Couldn’t be more obvious.

  20. In that picture Trump looks like he has some fresh clay in his face lol

  21. What kind of world are we living in where a guy can’t even repeatedly threaten a judge without being punished for it? /s

  22. Dammit! Forgot to buy stock in Heinz! The price must be going through the roof in after hours trading today!

  23. I am loving the latest photos of Trump. Really captures his demise.

  24. “I wasn’t intimidating your bailiff, I was intimidating and slandering THE WITNESS!!”

Every time you think he’s stopped digging in his hole, he laughs all the way to the backhoe store

  25. You know, if they keep doubling the fine eventually we could start funding the government with or without a shutdown in a matter of weeks. And Trump’s base will have paid for it. There’s a certain poetic justice there, just sayin’.

  26. I think a couple of zeroes need to be added to the fines.

That said, it’s absolutely true that Trump wants to be seen as a victim of a “corrupt judiciary”. He doesn’t give two fucks about this fine and his storming out was theater.

The only way this gets close to ending is if he is imprisoned and it is ruled that he can’t run for president (with a challenge no doubt tied up in courts for the duration of the campaign). Force Republicans to dump him or not have a candidate.

  27. The judge should fine him for looking like a giant Oompa Loompa. Bloody hell.
