The White House is losing the messaging war on Ukraine. Now it’s changing the message. The president’s team is privately urging lawmakers to focus on the jobs that can be created by money spent on the war.

Politico continues to be the absolute fucking worst rag.
>The administration has privately “realized that their messaging on Ukraine specifically has been a disaster… and that they needed to change,” according to a senior congressional Republican aide.
Thanks helpful Republican aide for telling us what the Administration is “realizing!”
Christ. I think plenty of us are receptive to the argument that defending Ukraine is defending democracy. Adding an economic message on top of that is not “changing the message” or “losing the messaging war.”
They are losing the narrative because they have been slow rolling equipment instead of giving everything they need to win. Biden’s actions, along with NATO allies, have created this mess. Give them everything they could possibly need instead of no what will Russia think if we give them this. Stop worrying and get the job done. Save lives by killing Russians faster and allowing Ukraine to take back what is theirs
Have to have the equipment so the troops can train. Have to have the troops trained to use the equipment.
I’m fairly confident in the us mic lobbyists on this matter. They’ve got lots of cash and lots of candidates in close races that will want that cash.
I call bs politico
What’s old is new again! Keynes was an idiot, but so is the general public collectively. I don’t agree with the argument, but if that’s the messaging it takes to do the right thing so be it I guess.
Nah. Too many Americans are ignorant and lazy and are be coming isolationist.
