because 2 goals from 8 shots is a huge drop off from the insane efficiency we’ve grown accustomed to from him. he was very clearly very out of form for the majority of the match
People hate because they love to hate
Edit *score
ppl want him to score more
2 isnt enough, he has to get 4
It was always going to be hard to live up to last season.
Because a lot of the newer City fans literally have no idea about football. I’d have loved to have seen some reactions to Bernardo Corradi or Georgios Samaras days 😂.
Damn why does it look like you gave Alvarez only a 1 star rating wtf
Cause the Messi cult hates to see anyone mentioned next to their king in a Balón Dor race.
One, it was always going to be hard top his achievements from last season.
Two, he’s been trying to evolve outside of goal scoring.
Three, there’s a just a crowd of people who will never be happy. Just leave them alone
Only some fucking insecure and fragile Messi dickrider hate him the most the other not that much.
Why give a fuck?
One word: TREBLE

Because he missed too many opportunities, and has been for much of the season.
lmfao did you watch the game? first off it’s young boys, the easiest fixture we’re getting for the entirety of the CL run. second you’re comparing a ST who played 89 mins to a midfielder that played 18 and STILL scored in that small period of time.
yeah he scored 2 (one was a penalty lmao) and yet somehow he still missed sitters (especially that sterling impersonation in the 70th 😂) or the 1v1 against the keeper in the 78th and makes a meal of it or his terrible positioning at the 32nd which allowed doku’s great ball into the box to be cleared easily.
all this post proves is how y’all have 0 ball knowledge and just stat watch lmao.
He’s competing with his past self.
cause he was terrible? a miss hit penalty that should have been saved, a lot of chances missed and poor decisions made, his second goal was very well taken but in the overall context of the game he was dreadful
He might be missing chances at the moment but his overall gameplay has improved MASSIVELY! His ball control, passing, hold up play, etc. are much better than last season.
I saw people hating on Kova after the match and it told me everything about their football IQ.
