  1. Erm. Her own milk… or her own milk? Bit weird either way.

  2. Re-using is supposed to be what we’re doing to save the planet. Why aren’t young people doing it as well?

  3. My MiL does this too. Brings a medicine bottle of milk with her when we go out somewhere ‘in case her throat gets dry’.

  4. What do you mean “re use”? Milk is traditionally a single use product, unless I’ve been drinking wrong all these years

  5. Sure she hasn’t mixed that up with the father in laws specimen?

    Taste it

  6. 😂 my parents do the same when visiting, they drink semi skimmed and we have full fat milk and skimmed so they won’t touch it lol

  7. My mum will turn up for a weekend visit with a tub of that anti-cholesterol margarine and INSIST that you make a point of using it on anything she eats, but then lace everything with enough salt to kill an elephant. My brother (a doctor) despairs.

  8. An Englishman, a Scottish man, and an Irish man all walk into a pub with their wives. They all sit down and order a cup of tea. The Englishman looks to his wife and says “could you pass the honey, honey?” The Scottish man thinks to himself how clever that was, then turns to his wife and says “could you pass the sugar, sugar?” The Irish man – not wanting to be out witted by the other two men – looks over at his wife and says “Could you pass me the milk ye fucking cow?”

  9. She was carrying it around before she expressed it, why add the middleman?

  10. You’re gonna need to clarify ‘own milk’ lol!

But, for real, I drink soya milk so I do this when visiting family too. Just in case they don’t have any and it saves bringing a whole carton.

Also, I’m in my 30s and I have 2 drawers of old containers for reusing. Little bottles like this, jars, takeaway boxes, plastic bottles. You never know when they’ll come in handy!

  11. I thought the menopause would put a stop to things like this
