  1. It’s unrealistic to think that any sanction to any country will work 100%. At the end it all comes down to humans deciding to abide by it or not. Greed, corruption and personal affiliation plays a huge role. As long the sanctions make a proper impact on the quantity, quality and economy then it’s ok.

  2. It would be very easy, the manufacturers need to serialize and track sales more carefully. They should know where every component goes and people should have to have a need for what they are buying. Then if we find a component in Russia, we fine the person that bought it. Even if there was no provable intent. That way these things aren’t just sold to whoever and the people reselling for profits are either removed from the process or persuaded to be very careful who they sell to. The way sanctions work right now is a joke. We also need to shut off sales of alot of things to everyone except governments, so that when we sell something we can hold a country responsible. Ok Serbia can get 1000 cpu”s and if they are diverted we can embargo the country. I see that as the only way you can even hope to slow the western technology to Russia.
