Hi, I’m a member of Digmarit ry, the trade union for professionals in marketing, creative fields and IT.
Once a year, we (together with Erto ry) recommend the minimum salary levels marketing and creative professionals in different areas of Finland *should* ask for. We base these recommendations on a questionnaire (in Finnish).
It takes about five minutes to fill in the questionnaire, and this year, Erto will raffle off a smartphone (iPhone 15 Plus 5G:n 512 GB tai Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G:n 512 GB) among those who reply with their contact details by 31 October.
Many in the creative fields (graphic designers, copywriters, among others) are freelancers or self-employed and usually don’t fall under the collective bargaining agreement. And often, this means that we receive offers that don’t really reflect the effort we put in. The minimum salary levels are a good starting point for making sure freelancers and self-employed people are paid a fair price for their services.
Thank you for your help.

I’m a member of Digmarit and filled the survey when I got the email about it. I have to say that Digmarit is pretty great, I appreciate the events and various courses and am looking forward to the fall meeting in Lahti.
