Firstly letting JKR write them. She just can’t write screen plays.
Secondly a series called Fantastic Beasts being light on the beasts.
They should have done a more magic Doctor Who, where Newt arrives somewhere and a magical beast is causing troubles. But also aim to have a writer from the country that Newt visits to try and create some of their magical culture.
But instead we got whatever that mess was.
First part of the first movie where they’re setting up the world and the relationships between the characters is great, but by the end it’s clear it’s not going to be a fun adventure. Movie two started with Wizard Nazis and I checked out.
Poor JKR. All she has to look forward to is punching down on trans people on Twitter.
I think WB really wants to do HP and FB movies or series but i think JKR is adamant about being involved as a writer or wants to write a script. WB doesn’t want that for now as FB really tanked and wasted stories. Unless they make JKR agree on being a producer and probably have her opinion on stories but not having executive control on stories, they will not make anything new.
I put it on when I’m trying to get my kid to fall to sleep
