Is my screen fucked? cause that butterfly is black and white
This is great but we should go a step further and reintroduce species which have been extinct in the UK for centuries, like wolves and bears. The more the better. Maybe some new ones too, I’d personally love to see some zebras and buffalo, which would mean we’d need lions and tigers to keep their numbers in check. Can’t have the lions and tigers dominating too much territory, though, so we should get some elephants to even the playing field. Adders are cool and everything but we need snake diversity, import some of those massive boa constrictors from india. I love the Lake District but I’ve always thought there’s a distinct lack of crocodiles and hippos, so maybe look at that too
Ah this a great sign. There is so much land in this country that we’re not using that could be given to rewilding. I hope these successes spurn on greater changes.
