Blue signs are for low-pressure gasline parts while yellow for higher pressure. Letter indicates the part type and numbers distance there of
AFAIK it should show location where to access valves/connections. The number shows distance from wall/post in meters where the hatch is located.
These signs are used to mark gas pipeline.
The letter marks the device, in this case K means control valve. 4,6 means that the device is 4,6 meters behind the sign.
Should there be an arrow pointing to the left or right and a number under the arrow, then the upper number indicates distance directly behind the sign and the number below the arrow distance to the direction of the arrow in meters to the location of the device.
These signs may appear on blue or yellow background. The background color should indicate the pressure in the pipeline, however I’m not sure about this.

Marks some utilities, gas, electricity, etc, don’t know the system but that should solve most of the mystery for you.
And if anyone has an explanation for how the system works that would be fantastic. I’m incredibly curious about it.
