  1. >Mr Ryan added: “Dr Tony Holohan would obviously be saying if you want to completely avoid any chance of getting Covid then obviously you completely self-isolate, but that’s not realistic.

Wouldn’t be his biggest fan but that’s an unnecessary little dig

  2. Yes if people are boosted now there should be no reason they need isolate, as vaccine works, and maybe we could do with just 3 day isolation for vaccinated, and just leave unvaxxed at 10 days, so everyone would be safe.

  3. It’s either dangerous enough that we need to self isolate or it isn’t , so basically go die as long as you pay prsi and usc before you do.

  4. Initially though did it not take between 3 and 10 days for symptoms to appear? Hence isolation. It really is becoming a case of unless you are dying, ya need to show up to work regardless. Makes zero sense. I know after having a bad case of a flu, it takes nearly a full week for symptoms to disappear or to feel any better. Madness tbh.

  5. If we’re going to throw people back out into society while still infectious (and regardless of what any gobshite TD tells you, you are still infectious after 5 days.) then why bother with any restrictions at all?

If this is going to be the totally contradictory approach, then just go for full herd immunity and go crazy.

If you have COVID, go and infect your colleagues. But don’t you DARE watch Spiderman after 8pm.
