  1. Lots of Irish moved to Argentina during famine times and you’ll meet plenty of Argentinians with Irish heritage when you travel around their beautiful country!

  2. I feel all sorts of confused and conflicted. I’ve never had my dirty mind activated by Irish dancing in my life.

  3. Well I’d say many people got their no wank New year’s resolution blown, well done op, of to hub to search Argentinian red head.

  4. Was in a restaurant in Montmartre about 15 years ago with a friend from Dublin. As we finished our meal and were getting ready to head away, a short, dark Latin-looking lad came up to us. Being two women on a weekend evening in Paris, I thought we were about to be hit on, but the lad asked us if we were Irish and we got chatting. He told us his Irish great-grandfather had emigrated to Argentina in the 1910s and that they were very proud of their Irish heritage, and it was lovely to meet Irish people in Paris. I wish I remembered his name. Such a lovely, unexpected encounter, and somehow less annoying than when our US cousins bring it up (sorry dudes).

  5. Used to live in Buenos Aires a couple of years ago. Great Irish-Argentinan community there. Played some GAA for the first time in years over there and watch the All-Ireland final. Almost forgot I was 11,000km from my home
