Sure, let’s base the entire countries’ climate policies (or lack thereof) on edge cases. That’ll go swell.
Wtf? My parents’ home is quite a ways from the street. And the location of the furnace is even further. Who pays for the pipe going from the street to the house when the inevitable happens?

Excuse me while i go make an offering to my furnace really quick; because i can’t afford to redo my entire central heating. i just pray it’s gonna hold out for as long as possible.
In my case i would have to get a pipeline to the house, which despite not being more then 10m from the road, might take a while to get done. i’ll need to dig the trench myself and then wait to get connected. Which apparently could take a while. (i’m looking at you fluvius). Then get a new installation and probably having to refit my entire heating system because my house is from the 60’s. Previous owners did do renovations but that’s been a while too. And it seems to be funded completely by the owner, without any form of subsidizing.
Looking at the current pricing of gas and how it’s not really a more environmentally friendlier option then oil; that’s not really helpful. And other options of heating systems seem to be pretty damn expensive too. A pump works with electricity; those prizes are skyhigh as well. If it’s all the same, i might just become a michellin man and wear a fuckton of sweaters and get a pile of blankets just to afford to stay warm.
Ik snap niet dat ze dit niet enkel ingevoerd hebben voor nieuwbouw of totaal renovaties.Mijn grootmoeder is 90 jaar, de stookolie installatie is binnenkort aan vervanging toe en het huis waar ze in woont al zo oud dat het sowieso afbreken wordt als het ooit verkocht word.
Je kan toch niet verwachten dat zo een mensen nog gaan investeren in een hele cv installatie op aardgas? Met 1 pensioen, even heel het huis open breken voor een installatie die binnen x aantal jaar toch gesloopt zal worden…
Gas dit gas dat, hoeveel hebben die fuckers niet in gas-aandelen zitten? Zal wel een ketel ergens anders in europa gaan kopen en die in’t zwart laten installeren dan, bende oplichters.
Jaja, ween ween, heb nu wel 6500l mazout aan de bodemprijs van vorig jaar terwijl de mensen met een gasketel zich letterlijk en figuurlijk blauw betalen.
