differing reports on update to covid 2G+. does anyone in govt know answers to questions in the comments?

  1. Lux times mentions specifically restaurants, nothing about sporting activities

RTL today just says 2G + rules will be eased

Will the application be updated to count to 180 days or do the poor Covid check agents have to verify each and every date manually from the piece of paper/screenshot?

  2. Instead of RTL, I recommend reading about specific legal measures on the [Chambre des Métiers](https://www.cdm.lu/news/fiche/newsnew/news/mesures-sanitaires-introduction-d-un-2g-loisir-et-du-3g-en-entreprise). For sector-specific measures, see [the government FAQ](https://sante.public.lu/fr/espace-professionnel/recommandations/direction-sante/000-covid-19/recommandations-sanitaires-temporaires/index.html). They’re much clearer to read, and include future changes.

For [sporting activities](https://sante.public.lu/fr/espace-professionnel/recommandations/direction-sante/000-covid-19/000-covid-191-annexes/recommandations-sanitaires-activites-sportives.pdf), until the 15th January (page 5):

For changing rooms, max 10 people with mask and distancing. No mask needed for showers. Doesn’t apply if CovidCheck is in place.

For sports halls/fields, up to 10 people without mask and distancing. More than 10 people requires CovidCheck 2G+. There are also age-specific regulations. Swimming pools also follow certain regulations.

    Hope that helps.

  3. I got my second dose in August. Still, with the cases escalating, I think I’ll just ask to take the food with me. At least, until things calm down a bit. Even before was a bit tiring, having to always show the certificate… Nah. No point in sitting there. In fact, it’s safer to take the food with me to a place less crowded.
