4. It sounds absurd because of how connected this group appears already. But yesterday was a huge iron-forging moment for them. Bellingham was well-defended the first 60, Tchouameni uh-oh’ed on the Barca goal, Fede got dragged out of position because of the Balde threat and Camavinga had to play his favorite LB position for Mendy.

   Respectively, these guys were getting their behinds kicked for much of the match. My blood was boiling every time Gavi was committing shithousery in the match. Our first attempt on goal was not until the 57th minute. It was very much a renewal of Barca disdain.

   Jude golazo changed the calculus. Look at his body language leading up to that. Pissed off, way out of the box, taking the shot almost in frustration rather than using the best available option. They rallied behind him, and all immediately turned up their performance the remainder 25 minutes.

   I love when these guys play well and click wire-to-wire. However, these moments lead to the bigger achievements. These young men are excellent in their craft and approach. The work ethic is insane for a group this youthful. Hugely proud of these guys, Hala Madrid!!!
