  1. My grandfather had one. I have a picture of him from when he went to get his papers done to immigrate to the US. Then the war happened (WWII )and he couldn’t move anymore. The mustache lasted for a while.

  3. Mustaches aside this is one of the most stereotypical Cypriot male images I’ve seen.. they’re all near identical copies of people I knew growing up.. Mattheos “o pappus”, Giannis “o kalamaras”, Glafkos “to zizanio”, Simos “o parapottis”, Marios “o mastros”.
