Vanilje saus?
The cake looks like [Espresso House’s “Vegan Blueberry Pie”](https://no.espressohouse.com/en/menu/pastries/vegan-blueberry-pie)(?) If so, you’ve more or less got your answer in your post title: It’s a type of custard sauce. I see it’s called “vanilla sauce” on the website, but from what I gather, that‘s just another term for custard sauce.
